We are adults here (I hope...), some woman enjoy if the man is dominant in bed (for example: little strangling), rough sex, just know the limits, where are the limits! This isn't mean the guy is psycho, can be a good guy. And psychos are very average in bed, ask their wives! In this case the victims are objects for the eastbound strangler, not humans, he tought: no limits, sadly.

I used "he", 'cos stranglers are usually males. I've never seen female strangler, female serial killers are also rare, but we have some, but they don't use this method. Why? Because the strangulation need strength and move the bodies also, a female perpatrator isn't enough strong (if she has a male helper...),Women use different methods. Logical.
Typical female killer use poison, much easier, I recognized a poisoner is usually a close family member as wife, husband (or live very close, like a neighbor) and who kill with poison has disturbingly huge ego. Last time I watched a 48 Hours episode, the dentist husband killed his wife with poison, mother of his 6! children, I think 'cos he didn't want to divorce/share the money, these things are destroying his big ego, what people think, 'cos he cheated his wife...and the police found his searches in his laptop's history for poisons...dentists are usually smart guys, but this deliquent isn't...another "tech genius" was BTK killer, Dennis Rader...send a floppy disc to police 'cos police messaged to him earlier: they can't find his datas on the disc, but their experts found easily his e-mail address with the name, the only Dennis in that church was Rader. What an idiot monster! Back to another monster, the dentist, he is in prison, his wife in her grave, 6 children without parents. Other 48 Hours episode: very successful basketball player, he had 7! children with his wife. The wife hired hitmen who killed/shot him. Why? 'Cos she was shopping addict, for 1 million dollars life insurance. She is in jail, her man is in coffin. 7 children without parents...Horrible! Like the dentist. How could they do this with mother/father of their kids!? That poor kids... :(
Neighbor as poisoner...I watched a case, he put poison in the family's soda bottles when they weren't home. The mother died, the kids survived, And he wrote anonim threatening letters to the woman. What a high ego! He will die in jail.
The top of tops is the Tylenol poisoner in the '80s Chicago who killed 8 people: a 12 years old girl, a mom of a 4 days old newborn baby, a couple, their kids lost both parents same day...typical egoistic, selfish person, a mass murderer, they are usually males, I think (rather feel as intuitive) this is an older man, at least middle-aged, a factory worker who had problem with Johnson & Johnson (Tylenol was their product), not with innocent victims, with the company. (Other theories: group of terrorists did as the first terror attack against US people or the J&J's concurency...I believe this was a worker.)

The answer: NO. Architect, Rex Hauermann is the Long Island Serial Killer, or one of them...He was New York resident (now: prison resident).

Answers to persons who hate this show:

1. "Phelps is too dramatic." No! The life is dramatic. These serial killers murdered many people, took lives and destroyed families and your only problem Matt is a drama queen...Shame on you! Phelps tried to help, soke answers...

2. "They didn't solve the cases." Not their duty! Not Phelps' duty. He is a crime author/investigative journalist. Not Mr. Kelly's duty. He is a veteran criminal profiler. That is the local police duty! This show (original concept by Phelps) gave space to these unsolved crimes, tried to solve them. Think sometimes before speak!!! Don't like, don't watch! Easy.
