5:07 Typical teenger thing...That wasn't Barbara's and Jim's or Claire's faults 100%...met with an antisocial psychopath who took/destroyed their lives... :( Teenage rebellion, just kids, but in their case was fatal, sadly.
13:16...23:57...36:11...46:01 :( :( :( :(
I think this killer was impotent, that was a military area, maybe a veteran who injured "there"...and some idiot woman derided, abjected him or/and his mother was also brutal/very strict with him, also dismissed or left him in his childhood and he took revenge (power, control), but he couldn't rape the girl, 'cos she represented his mother for him...
29:54 that's why he cut the breast as "trophy", humiliation and the sand in their mouth: "shut up, i'm the boss, here are no cards for you, baby, you do what i want and now you will die". :(
And the shocking poses: he saw this nightmare in Vietnam too...PTSD, that's why the "shock value".
38:23 "This could be the same guy...Probably a local, maybe military, definitely a serial killer."
19:43 I agree with Matt Phelps. This wasn't a woman's work...it was too brutal. "Raven's not genius, he's just a killer...I'm not buying the female killer line." Raven/Jesperson was "only" a truck driver, not too intellectual...plain guy.
40:31 "For You and I is a playground. For a psychopath is a hunting ground." :( Yes, beaches are very beautiful places...sun, fun, happiness, relax and the monster arrives to destroy everything forever...41:55...43:16 :(
((42:25 Hi, Sweetie! Hello, Cutie! (L) :) (k) ))
48 Hours: Blood in the Sand - The Murder of Barbara Nantais and Claire Hough. Richard Schlesinger's Report:
https://videa.hu/videok/film-animacio/48-hours-mystery-blood-in-1978-1984-california-jBspRQmIF5H0sSI1
The case is PARTIALLY SOLVED...Allegedly Claire Hough's killer was a guy named Ronald Tatro AND! another guy, a forensic lab member, Kevin Brown, who allegedly knew each other...I had serious problems with this. Kevin Brown as a lab guy and his colleauges donated often their bloods and sperms for the tests in the labs for research target and Brown was a member of the forensic staff in the Claire Hough Case...He was there and decades later his colleagues undeservedly charged him: Brown was the part of the murder...Brown committed suicide in his holiday house soon after, because of the shame. His widow, Rebecca Brown proceed against the lab, police and the state of California.
I believe in Kevin Brown's Innocence. Poor Guy! :( He is also a Victim. His Wife, Rebecca too, who lost Her Beloved Husband. :(

I think, Ronald Tatro was the only killer in the Claire Hough's murder. Kevin Brown wasn't there. But Tatro was a copy cat killer. Namely, Tatro was in jail! when the Barbara Nantais murder happened in 1978. So Barbara's killer and Jim's attacker is a different person, not Tatro! The murders aren't related and sadly, Barbara and Jim Case is still unsolved...

P.S.:
1. Colonial Parkway Murders: maybe the killer saw his GF/partner/wife who kissed with another woman (she was bisexual) in a car and this was the psychological calling card, that's why he killed lesbians.
2. Phantom of the Civic Theater: Everybody know who is this guy, Lance Voss (aka Jeff Voss), the Police know, the People in that little town know (he moved), so that's why is so frustrating and infuriating case, but not enough solid proof against him...I bet the bastard knows and enjoys this. I hope the judgement day will come sooner or later with the help of DNA technique...he's not going to make it!
