2021/12/18 道路交通法違反の疑いで山陰中央新報に勤務する男が逮捕されました。逮捕されたのは、山陰中央新報社ニュースセンターデスク兼論説委員で鳥取県米子市皆生3に住む森安哲史容疑者（38）です。警察によると、森安容疑者は12月18日午前1時前、米子市冨士見町で指定方向外通行禁止の道路を走行した通行禁止違反の疑いがもたれています。森安容疑者は警察の事情聴取中に現場から逃走。容疑が固まったとして12月18日朝、逮捕されました。調べに対し容疑を認めているということです。山陰中央新報社（本社・島根県松江市）は、「事実関係を確認した上で厳正に処分し、不祥事が無いよう再発防止に努める」とコメントを発表しました。警察は逃走理由などについて捜査しています。
